Personal Assistant to Managing Director

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Personal Assistant to support the Managing Director in Lagos. The role involves managing calendars, travel arrangements, and confidential information while serving as a liaison between the MD and internal teams, partners, and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and optimise the MD’s calendar, appointments, and travel plans.
• Handle confidential information with utmost discretion.
• Act as a liaison between the MD and internal teams, partners, and stakeholders.
• Track key deliverables across departments and ensure timely execution.
• Draft, edit, and manage official correspondence, reports, and presentations.
• Prepare briefing materials, agendas, and notes ahead of meetings.
• Coordinate and follow up on decisions made during leadership and strategy meetings.
• Help plan and execute internal events, board meetings, and strategy sessions.
• Anticipate the MD’s needs and proactively solve operational bottlenecks.
• Maintain a clear system for tracking deadlines, goals, and follow‑through tasks.

Required profile

• HND/BSc degree in Business Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in an administrative, personal assistant, or executive support role.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High emotional intelligence, discretion, and professionalism.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Google Workspace.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
