Performance Test Engineer (Load, Stress & Scalability)

About the role

We are looking for a Performance Test Engineer to design, execute and maintain load, stress, endurance and scalability tests for our enterprise applications. The role involves close collaboration with development, DevOps and infrastructure teams to ensure our systems meet performance benchmarks and service level agreements.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute load, stress, endurance and scalability testing scenarios.
• Develop and maintain performance testing scripts and test data.
• Analyze system bottlenecks and recommend optimization improvements.
• Monitor system performance metrics and application response times.
• Support non‑functional testing and release readiness activities.
• Produce performance reports and documentation of test results.
• Ensure applications meet enterprise performance benchmarks and SLAs.

Required profile

• 4–15+ years of relevant professional experience in performance testing or related fields.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or a related discipline; postgraduate degree or certifications are a plus.
• Experience working in enterprise‑scale digital or technology environments.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile delivery (Scrum/Kanban) and cross‑functional collaboration.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
