People and Culture Associate

About the role

The People and Culture Associate will act as a trusted advisor to Oakheed’s clients, delivering expert guidance on people strategy, culture, and core HR functions. This role blends deep HR knowledge with consulting skills to design, implement and optimise talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, compensation, benefits and payroll processes.

Key responsibilities

• Support client projects covering people strategy, culture diagnostics, talent acquisition, talent management and employee engagement.
• Conduct research, benchmarking and prepare analytical reports and deliverables for clients.
• Develop tailored frameworks, tools and policies that meet client needs and comply with local regulations.
• Manage end‑to‑end monthly payroll administration for assigned clients, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality and timely processing.
• Handle payroll input validation, reconciliations, statutory deductions, reporting and resolution of employee payroll queries.
• Assist in business development activities, including networking, branding and client pitch development.

Required profile

• Mid‑level HR professional with at least 4 years of relevant experience.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations for clients.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
