About the role

Wigwe University is seeking a part‑time Professor of Economics to join its faculty. The position involves delivering high‑quality teaching, conducting research, and contributing to the academic community.

Required profile

Ph.D. in Economics or a closely related discipline.
Relevant university teaching and research experience as defined by the National Universities Commission (NUC).
Strong record of quality publications and evidence of academic leadership.
For Sabbatical appointments, candidates must be serving professors at recognized universities and obtain release from their institutions.
Membership of relevant professional bodies and proficiency in digital teaching tools are advantageous.
