Operations Supervisor – Recycling & Field Operations

About the role

The Operations Supervisor will lead daily recycling and field activities for HR On Wheels in Lagos. You will coordinate collection, sorting, processing and transportation of recyclable materials while ensuring safety and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily recycling and field operations, including collection, sorting and transport.
• Lead and monitor field teams, track productivity and compliance with HSE standards.
• Conduct site visits, resolve operational issues and oversee vehicle and equipment maintenance schedules.
• Prepare operational reports, maintain accurate records and coordinate with buyers, vendors and transport partners.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Management, Environmental Science, Operations Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in operations, recycling, waste management, logistics or related field.
• Experience supervising field teams is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Physically fit and willing to conduct regular field visits.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
