Operations Manager – Children Foundation

About the role

The Foundation is seeking an Operations Manager to lead day‑to‑day activities, ensuring a safe, nurturing environment for the children under its care. You will be responsible for overseeing staff, programmes, and stakeholder relationships to drive the mission forward.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and ensure the safety, welfare, and development of all children.
• Supervise caregivers, volunteers, and support staff, maintaining high standards of care.
• Design and implement educational, health, and personal‑development programmes.
• Build and maintain relationships with donors, partners, schools, and government agencies.
• Ensure compliance with child‑protection policies and relevant regulations.
• Prepare operational reports, budgets, and programme updates.
• Manage administrative tasks to keep the foundation running efficiently.
• Address conflicts, concerns, and safeguarding issues promptly and professionally.
• Organise fundraising activities, community outreach, and awareness programmes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, education, public administration, business administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years’ leadership or management experience, preferably in a non‑profit, orphanage, childcare facility, or school setting.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and people‑management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High integrity, empathy, patience, and emotional intelligence.
• Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion.
