Operations Coordinator - Fuels

About the role

We are looking for an Operations Coordinator – Fuels to oversee the scheduling, logistics and resource management of fuel inspection activities across Nigeria. The role serves as the central point of contact for inspectors, clients and internal teams, ensuring inspections are carried out efficiently and in compliance with standards.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule inspections, coordinate inspector availability and dispatch resources to sites.
• Communicate with inspectors, clients and internal teams to ensure clear information flow.
• Allocate personnel, equipment and materials to optimise operational efficiency.
• Maintain quality control by ensuring inspections follow established procedures and documentation standards.
• Track and analyse performance metrics, identify improvement areas and report to management.
• Troubleshoot operational issues, resolve inefficiencies and escalate when necessary.
• Coordinate with vendors for equipment maintenance, repairs and other operational needs.
• Maintain accurate records of inspection reports, schedules and related documentation.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies and safety guidelines.
• Assist in training new inspectors and provide ongoing support to the inspection team.
• Interact with clients to address inquiries, resolve issues and maintain satisfaction.
• Support preparation of operational budgets and monitor expenses.

Required profile

• Technical proficiency with industry standards, inspection procedures and related equipment.
• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective stakeholder interaction.
