About the role
We are seeking a qualified Nursing Officer (RN) to join our hospital team in Nigeria. The role involves delivering high‑quality patient care, supporting clinical operations, and collaborating with doctors and allied health professionals to achieve optimal health outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including comprehensive assessments, care planning, and evaluation.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments safely and accurately.
- Monitor and record vital signs, medical history, and patient progress.
- Assist physicians during examinations, procedures, and emergency interventions.
- Maintain up‑to‑date and accurate patient records in compliance with hospital policies.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, and self‑care.
- Ensure adherence to infection‑control standards and hospital regulations.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide appropriate interventions.
Required profile
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid practicing license.
- Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).
- 1–2 years of post‑qualification clinical experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
