Nursing Officer

About the role

The Nursing Officer will provide professional nursing services at the designated health facility in Owo, Ondo State. This full‑time position supports the delivery of high‑quality patient care and contributes to the institution’s health objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care to patients in accordance with established protocols.
• Supervise and mentor junior nursing staff and ensure compliance with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria standards.
• Maintain accurate patient records and contribute to clinical audits.
• Participate in health promotion and disease prevention activities.

Required profile

• Minimum qualification of a Registered Nurse (RN) or a Bachelor of Nursing Science (B.NSc.) from a recognized institution.
• Full registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN) and a valid practising licence.
• At least one month of relevant nursing experience.
