About the role
Tekhols Schools is seeking a dedicated Nursery Teacher to join its early childhood team in Ibadan. You will create a safe, nurturing environment where young learners can explore, play, and develop foundational skills through engaging activities.
Key responsibilities
- Design and deliver play‑based lesson plans that introduce letters, numbers, shapes, and colors.
- Foster creativity through storytelling, arts & crafts, and music sessions.
- Support social and emotional growth by supervising playtime and teaching sharing, empathy, and conflict‑resolution.
- Monitor cognitive milestones, encouraging focus, vocabulary expansion, and number sense.
- Maintain regular communication with parents, providing progress updates and at‑home learning guidance.
- Collaborate closely with learning support assistants and other school staff.
Required profile
- Minimum qualification: NCE (Nigeria Certificate in Education).
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar early childhood teaching role.
- Passion for child development and ability to work effectively in a team.
