The News Writer Intern will support daily coverage of stablecoins and digital currency markets, focusing on clear, fact‑based reporting. This on‑site internship in Nigeria offers hands‑on newsroom experience and mentorship in financial and crypto journalism.

Key responsibilities

• Research and verify stories from multiple sources, monitoring issuer disclosures and regulatory updates.
• Draft concise news articles, summaries, and explainers under editorial guidance.
• Track depegs, regulatory decisions, and market developments, assisting with recurring features such as peg checks and reserve analyses.

Required profile

• Strong writing and reporting skills with the ability to explain complex financial and crypto topics clearly.
• Demonstrated research and fact‑checking ability, attention to detail, and commitment to balanced coverage.
• Interest in stablecoins, cryptocurrency, financial markets, or fintech and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work on‑site in Nigeria, collaborate with editors, and meet fast‑moving newsroom deadlines.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
