Network & Infrastructure Officer

About the role

As a Network & Infrastructure Officer, you will support and optimise IT infrastructure with a strong focus on Office 365 application management, system integration, and hardware/software troubleshooting.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and maintain network hardware and software including routers, switches, firewalls and VPNs.
• Identify, diagnose and resolve network‑related issues such as connectivity problems, performance bottlenecks and security incidents.
• Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems and antivirus solutions.
• Monitor network performance, document configurations and ensure compliance with organisational policies.
• Provide technical support to users both onsite and remotely, and deliver training and user guides for IT processes.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in IT operations or similar roles.
• IT certifications (CompTIA A+, Microsoft, Cisco, ITIL) are a plus.
• Knowledge of network protocols, APIs, system integration and database management.
• Experience with Active Directory, Office 365 and cloud‑based applications.
