Mid-Level Front End Developer

About the role

ATAfrica is looking for a mid-level Front End Developer with tech startup experience to help define and build its front-facing web interface and backend software. The company is described as pioneering the WealthTech industry in Nigeria.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with a cross-functional team to design and develop responsive web applications.
• Translate UI/UX design wireframes into high-quality code.
• Manage the full software development process from conception to deployment, including maintaining and upgrading software after deployment.
• Oversee the analysis, writing, building and deployment of software, and oversee automated testing while giving feedback to management.
• Modify and test changes to previously developed programs.

Required profile

• BSc or MSc from a reputable university (minimum Second Class Upper 2:1).
• At least 1 year of post-NYSC work experience.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset.
• Experience in FINTECH or WealthTech (trading, investment, electronic trading platforms or brokers).

Required skills

• Frontend: ReactJS
• Backend: NodeJS, Django
• Databases: MySQL, MongoDB
• Other: Heroku, AWS, GitHub, Jenkins
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with the web stack
