Microfinance Officer – Customer Acquisition & Loan Management

About the role

We are looking for energetic and goal‑oriented Microfinance Officers to join our team in Lagos. The role focuses on acquiring new customers, processing loans, managing portfolios and ensuring timely loan recovery while delivering excellent service.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new microfinance customers.
• Process loan applications and disburse funds.
• Manage loan portfolios and monitor repayment performance.
• Conduct loan recovery activities in line with company policies.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and compliance.

Required profile

• Minimum OND, HND or Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• Experience in microfinance banking, financial services or sales is an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to meet targets and work with minimal supervision.
• Good analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Willingness to work in the assigned locations.
