MEP Engineer – Abuja, Lagos, Ogun & Rivers

About the role

Choice Talents NG is seeking experienced MEP Engineers to join its team across several locations in Nigeria. You will be responsible for delivering complete mechanical, electrical and plumbing solutions for new construction projects and renovations, ensuring compliance with all regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage MEP design and implementation, covering HVAC, pumping, fire‑fighting, cooking‑gas lines and piping systems from concept to handover.
• Carry out in‑house design and execution of all assigned MEP systems.
• Maintain safe, regulatory‑compliant building systems and keep certificates of compliance up‑to‑date.
• Analyse repetitive equipment failures and propose corrective actions.
• Oversee all phases of MEP design and deployment performed by consultants.
• Review contractor installation and method statements, and conduct project snagging.
• Ensure installation, inspection and testing meet specifications, regulatory and quality standards.
• Coordinate with project personnel to meet deadlines and procedural requirements.

Required profile

• University degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in a consulting firm handling mechanical, electrical and plumbing projects.
• Working knowledge of plans, prints, specifications and schematics.
• Good understanding of construction procedures and practices.
• Computer literate with strong communication and organizational abilities.
