Medical Sales Representative – Akure

About the role

Our client, a global biopharmaceutical company, is seeking a motivated Medical Sales Representative to join their team in Akure, Nigeria. You will be responsible for promoting a portfolio of pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals and driving prescription growth across the assigned territory.

Key responsibilities

• Promote pharmaceutical products to doctors, hospitals and pharmacies.
• Generate prescriptions and increase product uptake to meet monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals and distributors.
• Conduct regular market visits to ensure full territory coverage.
• Organise product presentations, promotional activities and training sessions.
• Monitor competitor activities, market trends and report insights.
• Submit timely activity and sales reports.

Required profile

• Minimum 5+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience in Nigeria.
• HND in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Biochemistry, Microbiology or a related field.
• Proven track record of meeting sales targets within the region.
• Strong communication and relationship‑management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and achieve results.
