Medical Officer

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Medical Officer to join our healthcare team in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos. The role involves delivering comprehensive medical care, managing patient treatment plans, and contributing to a high‑quality clinical environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct patient consultations, medical assessments and physical examinations.
• Take accurate medical histories and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Diagnose and manage common medical conditions within scope of practice.
• Prescribe medications and treatments, and request and interpret laboratory and diagnostic investigations.
• Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans and provide preventive health advice.
• Maintain accurate, confidential patient records.
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide initial stabilization.
• Collaborate with nurses, laboratory staff, specialists and other healthcare professionals.
• Participate in clinical meetings, quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Required profile

• MBBS degree from a recognised institution and completed NYSC.
• Minimum three years post‑NYSC clinical experience.
• Fully registered and licensed to practice medicine in Nigeria (MDCN practising licence).
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic and patient‑management abilities.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and documentation skills.
• Professional, ethical and patient‑centred approach.
