About the role
We are looking for a qualified Medical Doctor to join our team in Abuja, delivering comprehensive patient care and supporting public health initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Examine patients: check vital signs, listen to hearts and lungs, and review physical symptoms.
- Diagnose conditions: order and interpret lab tests, blood work, or X‑rays.
- Create treatment plans: prescribe medicines, suggest therapies, and recommend lifestyle and diet changes.
- Perform procedures: administer treatments, stitch wounds, or perform surgeries as trained.
- Provide follow‑up care: monitor chronic illnesses, track recovery, and refer patients to specialists when needed.
Required profile
- A Degree in Medicine and Surgery (MBBS/MD).
- A valid practicing license with 1‑2 years of post‑accreditation experience, preferably within a Health Managed Care environment.
- Experience in public health settings, preferably in hepatitis and its variant treatments.
