Mechanical & Electrical Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Mechanical & Electrical Engineer to oversee the installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical and electrical systems at our facility in Victoria Island, Lagos. The successful candidate will ensure that all M&E systems run efficiently, safely, and in compliance with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ensure systems operate efficiently and meet safety and regulatory standards.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of facility equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical faults promptly.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors for installation and maintenance activities.
• Monitor system performance and recommend improvements for operational efficiency.
• Prepare maintenance reports and maintain accurate documentation.
• Support project execution involving mechanical and electrical engineering works.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in construction, facility management, or a similar environment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant professional certifications are an added advantage.
