Mechanical Design Engineer – Revit (15+ years experience)

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site position in Lagos focuses on developing detailed mechanical designs and layouts using Revit and other CAD tools. The engineer will ensure designs meet project specifications, codes, and standards while collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Create 3D models and drawings for HVAC, piping, and mechanical systems using Revit.
• Coordinate with civil, structural, and electrical teams to integrate mechanical designs.
• Review designs for functionality, safety, and constructability, and support design reviews.
• Resolve technical issues during construction and update design documentation.
• Contribute to design optimisation, value engineering, and mentor junior team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 15+ years of mechanical design experience in engineering, construction, or related industries.
• Strong knowledge of industry codes, standards, and best practices for mechanical systems.
• Proven ability to interpret and produce technical drawings and specifications with high attention to detail.
• Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
