Math Teacher (Full‑Time)

About the role

Roemichs International School is seeking an enthusiastic Mathematics teacher to join its full‑time faculty in Ilorin, Kwara. You will deliver the hybrid British/Nigerian curriculum to students ranging from Crèche to post‑WAEC levels, preparing them for national and international examinations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess mathematics lessons across all relevant grade levels.
• Prepare students for WAEC, NECO and, where applicable, Cambridge examinations.
• Develop engaging instructional materials and adapt teaching methods to diverse learner needs.
• Monitor and report on student progress, providing feedback to students and parents.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to maintain a cohesive curriculum and school culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years teaching experience, preferably in secondary education.
• Demonstrated experience teaching WAEC and NECO curricula.
• Enthusiastic, organized and able to inspire confidence in learners.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of WAEC and NECO mathematics syllabi.
• Familiarity with Cambridge mathematics examinations (desirable).
