About the role
University Press Plc, a leading Nigerian publisher founded in 1949, is seeking a Marketing & Sales Manager to lead its marketing and sales functions across all depots in Nigeria. The role will support the company's mission to provide high‑quality educational and general reading materials.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the company’s publishing portfolio.
- Drive sales performance across all distribution points.
- Coordinate with internal teams to align marketing initiatives with sales targets.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.
Required profile
- B.Sc or HND (minimum Second Class Lower/Lower Credit).
- At least 5 years of relevant experience, including 2+ years in a managerial role.
- Strong communication, analytical and interpersonal abilities.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
- Valid driver’s licence.
