Marketing Communications Manager (MarCom)

About the role

We are seeking a Marketing Communications (MarCom) Manager to join the pre‑opening team of Hyatt Regency Lagos Ikeja. The role will shape and execute integrated marketing and communication strategies that build the hotel’s brand, drive revenue and engage guests across digital and traditional channels.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive marketing and communications plans aligned with revenue targets.
• Manage brand positioning and ensure compliance with Hyatt global brand guidelines.
• Oversee digital channels including website, SEO/SEM, email campaigns and social media.
• Plan and execute online and offline advertising campaigns.
• Lead public relations activities, media outreach, press releases and influencer partnerships.
• Coordinate photo shoots, video production and content creation for promotional use.
• Collaborate with Sales, Events and Revenue teams to drive business across rooms, F&B and events.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer insights.
• Track campaign performance with analytics tools, optimise strategies and manage marketing budgets to ensure ROI.
• Maintain relationships with agencies, vendors and media partners.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business or a related field.
• 4–7 years of marketing/communications experience, preferably in hospitality or luxury brands.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with creative thinking and attention to detail.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Experience working with agencies and media partners.
