Market Supply Chain Planner – East & West Africa (7‑month Contract)

About the role

The Market Supply Chain Planner will act as a strategic partner for East and West Africa, leading demand and supply planning activities across a 7‑month maternity contract. You will use data‑driven insights and digital tools to support commercial decisions, ensure supply continuity and drive revenue opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain demand forecasts for the assigned portfolio across multiple horizons.
• Partner with commercial and finance teams to rationalise gaps between unit and financial forecasts.
• Lead the local Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process with cross‑functional participation.
• Coordinate new product launches, product changes and special projects.
• Monitor performance against KPIs such as forecast error, inventory value, write‑offs and launch metrics.
• Escalate supply issues and communicate recovery plans to internal and external stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement and standardisation of demand planning and S&OP processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading cross‑functional teams.
• Strong business acumen and knowledge of industry trends.
• Understanding of end‑to‑end supply chain processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, operations management or a related discipline.

• Statistical forecast modelling.
