Market Information Officer (MIO)

About the role

The Market Information Officer (MIO) will promote LiuGong’s range of agricultural and forestry equipment in Ibadan and the surrounding Oyo State region. The role focuses on building relationships with sawmill owners, plantation owners and other key customers to drive sales and service of tractors, harvesters, loaders, forklifts and log grapples.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage potential customers in the agriculture and forestry sectors.
• Sell and service LiuGong equipment including tractors, harvesters, loaders, forklifts and log grapples.
• Conduct product demonstrations and presentations.
• Coordinate equipment financing, leasing and after‑sales service.
• Maintain and grow a network of local industry contacts.
• Report sales activities to the Lagos office.

Required profile

• 2+ years experience in sales, service or parts for construction or agricultural machinery.
• Prior experience selling agricultural machinery or forestry equipment in Oyo State.
• Established network with local sawmill and plantation owners.
• Engineering or Business degree preferred.
• Age 23‑35 years.
• Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel within the city.
• Fluent in English; local dialect a plus.
