Manufacturing & Repair Lead – Candy Production

About the role

This senior leadership position owns the technology, maintenance, and process settings for the candy production line at Mondelēz International. You will be the technical expert for the line, driving stability, safety, quality and cost targets while building a high‑performing maintenance team.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with line leaders to achieve SQCDSM targets (Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Sustainability, Morale).
• Own technology, process, and centerline settings for line equipment and ensure deep technical mastery.
• Manage progressive maintenance systems, KPIs, and the repairs & maintenance budget.
• Develop and execute preventive and time‑based maintenance plans; coach technicians to perform maintenance independently.
• Lead the PM pillar, overseeing all preventive maintenance processes at line and department level.
• Collaborate with Asset and Reliability teams on system improvements and special maintenance tasks.
• Drive change management, spare part localization, breakdown analysis, and cost reduction.
• Represent the site as technology owner in regional and global forums.
• Support new initiatives, benchmarking, and act as subject‑matter expert for a component category.

Required profile

• Strong desire to drive personal and career growth.
• Proven experience in advanced maintenance methodologies and leading line‑level teams.
• Ability to qualify and coach next‑level SWP owners and apply PDCA improvement cycles.
• Experience acting as line leader, setting master plans, and coaching team performance.
