About the role

The Padana Services is seeking a seasoned Managing Director to lead its banking and finance operations in Lagos. This senior executive will shape long‑term strategy, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive profitable growth across all business lines.

Key responsibilities

• Formulate and execute long‑range business strategies, investment mandates, and commercial goals approved by the Board.
• Maintain full P&L accountability, overseeing capital allocation, operational expenditures, pricing, and diversified revenue streams.
• Serve as the primary liaison with Central Bank, NDIC, and external auditors to uphold licensing and statutory standards.
• Lead institutional fundraising, debt financing negotiations, and partnerships with development banks to strengthen capital adequacy.
• Mentor and align C‑suite officers in Technology, Risk, Finance, and Operations to foster a high‑performance culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Banking or related field; MBA or professional certification (e.g., HCIB, CIBN) mandatory.
• Minimum 12 years of progressive banking experience with at least 5 years in senior executive roles such as Director, General Manager, or C‑Level.
• Deep knowledge of microfinance banking regulations, capital structuring, and ethical leadership.
