Managing Director / CEO (MD/CEO)

About the role

Flashpay is seeking a Managing Director / Chief Executive Officer to lead its growth and market positioning in Nigeria. This full‑time, on‑site role will shape the company’s strategy, vision and execution while working closely with the board and key stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the overall strategy, vision and long‑term value creation for Flashpay.
• Oversee day‑to‑day operations, product direction and commercial activities.
• Set, track and adjust strategic priorities, ensuring effective governance, risk management and regulatory alignment.
• Build, mentor and lead a high‑performing leadership team and foster an inclusive, accountable culture.
• Represent Flashpay with banks, PSPs, partners and other ecosystem players.

Required profile

• Proven executive leadership experience in fintech, payments, banking or SaaS with P&L ownership.
• Track record of scaling early‑stage or growth‑stage companies, driving revenue growth and entering new markets.
• Deep understanding of payment infrastructure, digital banking and regulated financial environments.
• Demonstrated ability to build and retain high‑performing cross‑functional teams.
• Strong stakeholder management experience with boards, investors, enterprise clients and strategic partners.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
