Machine Sales Executive

About the role

The Machine Sales Executive is responsible for achieving or exceeding sales targets for the company's range of machines and lift‑truck products across the Nigeria territory. The role involves prospecting, negotiating, and closing high‑value equipment deals while ensuring full payment and proper documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Obtain orders that meet or exceed agreed targets and negotiate equipment sales into high‑valued projects.
• Ensure full payments are received for all units sold and that all necessary sales documents are prepared.
• Arrange visits to existing and prospective customers to maximise territory coverage.
• Aggressively promote the company’s products within the catchment area and win new prospects.
• Provide product‑related technical assistance and advice to customers and prospects.
• Gather and communicate market and competition information as appropriate.
• Maintain a good corporate reputation and effective communication between clients/customers and management.
• Perform any other related duties as required by the Machine Sales Manager – North & West.

Required profile

• B.Sc./B.Eng. or HND in Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years’ sales experience.
• Experience in an engineering, construction or material‑handling equipment company is an advantage.
• Valid driver’s licence and ability to drive.
