Lounge Manager – Abuja

About the role

Venmac Resources Limited is seeking a proactive Lounge Manager to lead the daily operations of its lounge in Abuja. Reporting directly to the GM/Chairman, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences, managing staff, controlling costs, and driving revenue while ensuring compliance with hotel and legal standards.

Key responsibilities

• Implement service standards and maintain the lounge’s ambiance and presentation.
• Manage inventory, supplies, and par levels for liquor, beer, wine, and equipment.
• Develop and execute weekly programs and a unique monthly event to attract diverse clientele.
• Handle guest inquiries, anticipate needs, resolve complaints, and ensure overall satisfaction.
• Coordinate with the event manager to align entertainment with the target audience.
• Oversee beverage purchasing, inventory control, and stock level monitoring.
• Review daily sales and beverage costs, resolve accounting discrepancies, and track performance against budget.
• Conduct pre‑shift meetings, prepare weekly work schedules, and adjust staffing as needed.
• Maintain compliance with departmental policies, service procedures, and legal standards.
