Loss Prevention Officer

About the role

The Loss Prevention Officer is responsible for safeguarding the property, guests, and employees at Raffia City Plaza in Ikot Ekpene. You will patrol the premises, monitor security systems, and respond promptly to incidents to maintain a safe environment.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol all areas of the property and control access to rooms.
• Monitor CCTV, perimeter alarm, duress and fire safety systems.
• Lock entrances, conduct hazard inspections, and respond to accidents or emergencies.
• Provide first aid/CPR and coordinate with EMS when needed.
• Defuse disturbances, escort unwelcome persons, and report incidents.
• Complete incident and shift reports, maintaining confidentiality.
• Conduct investigations, gather evidence, and interview relevant parties.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, walk or sit for extended periods and lift up to 50 kg unassisted.
• Strong observational skills and ability to follow procedures.
• Professional appearance and clear communication.
• Willingness to work full‑time on‑site in Ikot Ekpene.
