Loan Sales Officer

About the role

PalmPay is hiring a Loan Sales Officer. The role involves acquiring new loan customers through field marketing and referrals, selling the bank's loan products to individuals and businesses, and following up on disbursements and repayments while meeting sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new loan customers through field marketing and referrals
• Promote and sell the bank's loan products to individuals and businesses
• Conduct credit assessments and ensure proper documentation of loan applications
• Follow up on loan disbursements and repayments
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions and transactions
• Ensure compliance with the bank's credit policies and procedures
• Meet and exceed assigned sales targets
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat business

Required profile

• Minimum of OND/HND/B.Sc in any relevant discipline
• Proven experience in sales, preferably in banking or microfinance
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Target-driven with a passion for sales
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good knowledge of the local market and business environment
