About the role

Convergence Law Practice is seeking a full‑time Associate to join its Lagos office. The role involves providing high‑quality legal support to a diverse client base in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive legal research and analyse precedents.
Draft, review and finalise legal documents, contracts and memoranda.
Provide advisory support and strategic counsel to clients on corporate and commercial matters.
Represent clients in negotiations, hearings and other legal proceedings.
Monitor regulatory developments and ensure compliance with applicable laws.
Collaborate closely with senior lawyers and client teams to achieve successful case outcomes.

Required profile

Member of the Nigerian Bar Association with a valid practising licence.
Strong analytical, problem‑solving and critical‑thinking abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Prior experience in corporate or commercial law is an advantage.
