Learning Measurement & Evaluation Officer

About the role

The Learning Measurement & Evaluation Officer will design, implement and strengthen systems that support learning, measurement, monitoring, evaluation, accountability and reporting across programmes. Working closely with program teams, you will ensure activities are tracked, results measured and evidence generated for decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor project implementation and track progress toward outputs, outcomes and impact.
• Design, review and strengthen the organisation’s Learning, Measurement and Evaluation (LME) systems.
• Develop and implement MEAL frameworks, tools and processes.
• Lead data collection, analysis and interpretation to support evidence‑based decisions.
• Conduct periodic evaluations and assessments of programme performance.
• Collaborate with programme teams to develop indicators, results and logical frameworks and data collection plans.
• Produce internal and external reports, dashboards and presentations highlighting achievements and lessons learned.
• Facilitate learning sessions and document best practices and success stories.
• Build capacity of staff and partners on monitoring tools, data collection methodologies and learning approaches.
• Develop dashboards and visualisations using Tableau, Power BI, Excel or Google Data Studio.
• Assess existing M&E systems and recommend improvements.
• Support proposal development with MEAL plans, indicators and reporting frameworks.
• Represent the organisation in stakeholder meetings and technical forums.
