Lead Technical Consultant

About the role

We are looking for an experienced VMware Technical Lead to drive the delivery of VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) engagements within our Professional Services organization. The role will act as the primary technical authority on customer projects, ensuring solutions are designed, implemented and handed over with the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end technical delivery of VCF engagements, from discovery and design through implementation, validation and production handover.
• Validate and refine solution architectures, designs and implementation plans to ensure scalability and operational readiness.
• Provide technical governance, quality assurance and risk management throughout the project lifecycle.
• Facilitate workshops, design reviews, architecture discussions and executive‑level customer engagements.
• Resolve complex technical challenges across the VCF stack, including vSphere, vSAN, NSX, VCF Operations, VKS and automation.
• Mentor and coach consultants and architects, sharing knowledge and promoting technical excellence.
• Support presales activities and contribute reusable assets, standards and best practices to the consulting practice.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading large‑scale VMware Cloud Foundation implementations.
• Strong consulting and customer‑engagement skills with the ability to act as a trusted advisor.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities and capacity to manage technical governance and risk.
• Leadership experience guiding multidisciplinary project teams.
