Lead, Business Process Management Optimisation & Analysis

About the role

Standard Bank Group, an Africa-focused financial services group, is looking for a Lead for Business Process Management Optimisation and Analysis in Lagos. The role defines the need for change, designs solutions that deliver value to stakeholders, evaluates business processes and leads their continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Define needs and the rationale for change, and recommend and design solutions that deliver value to stakeholders.
• Identify business opportunities, carry out feasibility studies and develop plans for market expansion and future product development phases.
• Write project scopes and functional specifications, estimate project costs, risks and assumptions, and manage timescales and resource requirements.
• Guide and direct the resolution of business challenges by articulating problems and opportunities, designing practical solutions and implementing them in a disciplined way.
• Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, uncover areas for improvement and implement solutions, while leading ongoing reviews and developing optimisation strategies.
• Define tactical operational performance metrics to meet country objectives by analysing existing gaps.
• Collaborate with other areas so that best practice and a standard approach are followed.
• Provide accurate and timely MIS data, according to the matrix agreed with Centre (ROA Operations).

Required profile

• BSc in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 5-7 years of experience managing complex operations, ideally within the financial services sector.
• Knowledge of process and project management.
• Professional certifications such as Lean Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt) or CBAP are an added advantage.
