Laundry Personnel

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Laundry Personnel to manage the cleaning, processing and distribution of linens, towels, staff uniforms and guest laundry at Teestone Hotel and Apartment in Lagos.

Key responsibilities

• Sort, wash, dry, iron and fold hotel linens, towels, staff uniforms and guest laundry.
• Operate washing machines, dryers, steam presses and ironing machines safely and efficiently.
• Inspect items for stains, damage or wear and report issues to the supervisor.
• Maintain proper use, storage and inventory of detergents, chemicals and cleaning supplies.
• Keep the laundry room and equipment clean and organized.
• Track laundry quantities, record inventory levels and distribute clean items to designated departments.
• Handle guest laundry requests promptly and follow hotel hygiene, health and safety standards.
• Report equipment malfunctions and support housekeeping operations as assigned.

Required profile

• Minimum SSCE/High School Certificate.
• Previous experience in hotel laundry, housekeeping or a related role is an advantage.
• Good physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational and time‑management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays when required.
