About the role
Fabcom Structural Limited, a leading roofing manufacturer in Nigeria, is looking for a Language Assistant to provide high‑quality English‑Chinese translation and interpretation support across the business.
Key responsibilities
- Translate documents, correspondence and other materials accurately between English and Chinese.
- Interpret spoken communication during meetings, conferences and other business interactions.
- Assist market research and competitor analysis by translating relevant sources.
- Maintain translation glossaries and terminology databases.
- Ensure attention to detail and consistency in all translation tasks.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics or a related field.
- Minimum three years of professional Chinese‑English translation experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
- Strong cultural understanding of Chinese and Nigerian business environments.
- Experience in manufacturing or construction is a plus.
Required skills
- Proficiency with translation software and tools.
