Lagos State Manager – Business Acquisition

About the role

Nigeria Business Finder is looking for a highly motivated State Manager to lead business acquisition and onboarding across Lagos. You will be the primary point of contact for SMEs, corporations, and service providers, driving platform growth and building a vibrant business ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, engage, and onboard businesses onto the Nigeria Business Finder platform.
• Develop and execute state‑level growth strategies to increase registrations.
• Partner with local business clusters, associations, and trade groups.
• Conduct outreach through field visits, calls, emails, and networking events.
• Educate prospects on the benefits of listing on the platform.
• Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly registration targets.
• Organise activation campaigns, awareness drives, and promotional events.
• Provide onboarding support ensuring accurate listings.
• Monitor competitor activity and deliver market insights.
• Submit regular performance reports and collaborate with the central team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2–5 years of experience in sales, business development or field marketing.
• Strong knowledge of Lagos’s business environment and commercial hubs.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding acquisition targets.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and manage territory effectively.
