Key Account Manager – Automotive

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Key Account Manager to lead and grow relationships with major automotive customers, dealerships and corporate accounts in Lagos. You will be responsible for driving sales growth, negotiating contracts and ensuring excellent service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage relationships with key automotive customers and corporate accounts.
• Identify new business opportunities and drive sales growth within assigned accounts.
• Meet and exceed sales targets through strategic account planning and execution.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing and commercial terms with customers.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely product delivery and high customer satisfaction.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and customer needs to shape effective sales strategies.
• Prepare sales reports, forecasts and account performance reviews.
• Resolve customer concerns promptly while maintaining high levels of client satisfaction.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in automotive sales, key account management or business development.
• Strong knowledge of automobiles, automotive products and industry trends.
• Proven track record of managing high‑value client accounts and achieving sales targets.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and relationship management abilities.
• Ability to analyse market data and develop strategic sales plans.
