Junior Quantity Surveyor – Entry Level

About the role

The Junior Quantity Surveyor will support the commercial and project teams in cost estimation, measurement, and financial management of construction projects. This role is suitable for a graduate or entry‑level Quantity Surveyor seeking practical experience in project costing and contract administration.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQs), and tender documents.
• Take site measurements and prepare quantity take‑offs.
• Support cost control, budgeting, and expenditure tracking for projects.
• Assist in preparing valuations, progress reports, and final accounts.
• Help monitor variations and claims under the supervision of a senior QS.
• Liaise with site teams, contractors, and suppliers as required.
• Maintain proper documentation and records of project costs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
• Graduate Quantity Surveyor (NYSC pending or completed).
• Basic knowledge of construction costing and contract administration.
• Familiarity with QS software and Microsoft Excel is an advantage.
• Willingness to learn and ability to work in a team environment.
• Good communication and numerical skills.
