Junior Internal Auditor – Lagos

About the role

The Junior Internal Auditor will join Bomart Integrated Services on Lagos Island to support the planning and execution of internal audits across finance, operations, and compliance. This full‑time, on‑site position offers the opportunity to develop audit expertise within the fast‑growing LPG sector.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning and conducting internal audits of financial records, operational processes, and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare clear and accurate audit reports, documenting findings and recommendations.
• Follow up on agreed action plans with relevant teams to ensure remediation.
• Review transactions, support financial audits, and perform basic risk assessments.
• Analyze data to identify control gaps or inefficiencies.
• Collaborate closely with finance and operations teams.
• Communicate audit results effectively and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong analytical skills for data review and trend identification.
• Finance knowledge to understand financial statements, transactions, and basic accounting principles.
• Foundational understanding of internal control frameworks, risk management, and regulatory compliance (beneficial).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office productivity tools.
• Attention to detail and high ethical standards.
• Interest in the energy/LPG sector and willingness to learn industry‑specific regulations.
