Junior Analyst - Finance & Accounting

About the role

Fiscal 12 is seeking a motivated Junior Analyst to join its finance and accounting team. This entry‑level position offers recent graduates hands‑on exposure to financial reporting, analysis, and client support within manufacturing and product‑based businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with account reconciliations and month‑end close activities.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Help maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
• Prepare journal entries and supporting schedules.
• Contribute to monthly financial reports and variance analysis.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking.
• Participate in special projects across multiple client engagements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Recent graduate or up to one year of relevant experience.
• Completion of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme.
• Strong interest in finance, accounting, and business operations.
• Progress toward a professional qualification such as ICAN or ACCA.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, Odoo, or similar).
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications.
