About the role
The Open Veil Charitable Foundation is looking for a Junior Account Assistant to support its farm operations in Ogun State. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on experience in bookkeeping, financial reporting and basic payroll within a charitable agricultural setting.
Key responsibilities
- Record daily farm income, expenses, purchases, sales and other transactions.
- Maintain accurate records of receipts, invoices, payment vouchers and supporting documents.
- Assist with petty cash, bank and cash reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable.
- Enter and maintain financial information using Excel and accounting software.
- Prepare weekly and monthly financial summaries and support payroll preparation.
Required profile
- HND in Accounting, Finance or a related field; suitable for fresh graduates.
- 0–2 years of accounting experience or a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles.
- Willingness to work hands‑on in a farm environment and travel to the farm twice weekly.
