International Operations Manager

About the role

The International Operations Manager oversees all foreign currency (FX) transactions and international payment processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency across the International Operations team.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise daily activities of the International Operations team, assign tasks, monitor workflow, and provide training.
• Liaise with the RICA team to ensure compliance with banking regulations and internal policies for FX transactions.
• Approve payments on online platforms, verify account details, confirm debits, and communicate status to the FINOPS team.
• Process foreign currency transfers (USD, EUR, GBP), monitor transactions from initiation to bank approval, and ensure same‑day refunds and commission payments.
• Prepare and send payment instructions and supporting documents to banks, manage telex requests, and maintain proper filing.
• Update and analyse foreign currency bank statements, link them to transactions, and produce daily balance and position reports.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising a finance or operations team.
• Strong knowledge of foreign currency transaction processing and international payments.
• Familiarity with banking regulations and compliance requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
