Internal Audit Manager

About the role

Agbeyewa Farms is seeking an Internal Audit Manager to lead risk‑based internal audits across its agribusiness operations. You will provide independent assurance on financial integrity, regulatory compliance, and operational effectiveness while supporting enterprise risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute internal audits aligned with enterprise risk priorities.
• Evaluate internal controls, governance frameworks, and risk management processes.
• Identify control gaps, inefficiencies, and emerging risks; deliver actionable recommendations.
• Provide assurance on financial integrity, regulatory compliance, and operational effectiveness.
• Partner with business leaders to strengthen controls while enabling agility.
• Monitor remediation of audit findings and ensure closure.
• Develop and maintain audit methodologies, tools, and reporting standards.
• Support risk identification, assessment, and mitigation initiatives.
• Prepare and present concise audit reports to senior leadership.
• Leverage data analytics and technology to improve audit coverage and efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional certification (ACA, ACCA, CIA, or CISA) required.
• 6–10 years progressive experience in internal audit, risk management, or assurance, preferably in a multi‑entity or multinational environment.
• Strong understanding of internal control frameworks, risk management practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience assessing complex business processes and delivering actionable insights.
• Proven ability to work across multiple sectors or geographies.
