Interior Designer

About the role

Oak and Teak Interiors is looking for a creative, detail‑oriented Interior Designer to develop exceptional interior concepts and bring them to life. Reporting to the CEO, you will work closely with the design and project teams to translate client visions into functional, aesthetically‑pleasing spaces.

Key responsibilities

• Develop creative and functional interior design concepts based on client briefs and project requirements.
• Create design presentations, mood boards, space plans, material selections and design proposals.
• Design and develop interior spaces from concept through execution, producing 3D visualisations and technical drawings.
• Style and curate interior spaces, selecting furniture, accessories, finishes and décor.
• Source, procure and coordinate materials, furniture, fixtures and design elements locally and internationally.
• Maintain cohesive design themes across projects and ensure accurate execution with project teams.
• Participate in client meetings, design presentations and project reviews.
• Support procurement by providing design direction and approvals while staying updated on industry trends.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Interior Design, Architecture or a related field from a recognised institution.
• 3–5 years of experience as an Interior Designer within a design firm.
• Strong portfolio showcasing residential and/or commercial projects.
• Excellent creative thinking, attention to detail and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines and collaborate effectively.

• Proficiency with SketchUp.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD.
• Proficiency with Revit.
