Interior Designer – Creative Design Role

About the role

We are seeking a creative and detail‑oriented Interior Designer to join our client’s team in Wuse, Abuja. The role involves conceptualising, planning and delivering interior design projects that are both aesthetically pleasing and functional, working closely with clients to understand their needs.

Key responsibilities

• Develop design concepts and plans based on client needs, space, and budget.
• Consult with clients to discuss objectives, budget, and timeline.
• Create functional and attractive space layouts.
• Select furniture, fabrics, colour schemes, lighting and other materials.
• Produce 2D/3D models, renderings and detailed drawings using AutoCAD, SketchUp or Revit.
• Oversee project timelines, ensuring designs are completed on time and within budget.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors and other professionals.
• Prepare cost estimates and manage budgeting.
• Source and order furnishings, finishes and décor.
• Conduct site visits to verify compliance with design specifications.
• Stay updated on design trends, materials and technology.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture or a related field.
• 2‑5 years of experience in interior design or a related discipline.
• Strong visualisation, spatial planning and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail and a creative mindset.
• NCIDQ certification or equivalent is preferred but not required.
