Insurance Sales and Marketing Specialist

About the role

The Insurance Sales and Marketing Specialist is a full‑time position based in Lagos with a hybrid work arrangement. The role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, promoting a portfolio of insurance products, and managing client relationships across multiple lines of insurance.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect, engage and convert potential clients through calls, meetings and product presentations.
• Prepare proposals, quotations and follow‑up activities to close sales.
• Coordinate with underwriting and claims teams to ensure smooth policy issuance and service delivery.
• Maintain accurate sales and customer records in CRM systems.
• Support marketing campaigns and provide feedback for product and service improvement.

Required profile

• Strong insurance sales skills with proven prospecting and lead conversion experience.
• Solid knowledge of insurance products, especially health insurance, and regulatory considerations.
• Background in insurance brokerage or agency operations, including negotiation and policy placement.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Insurance or related field; professional certifications are a plus.
• Prior experience in the Nigerian insurance or financial services market is highly beneficial.
