Impact Distribution Officer – Cookstoves (Volunteer)

About the role
The Impact Distribution Officer will support the delivery of clean cookstoves to households in Abuja, Ogun, Ibadan or Jos. Working remotely, you will engage directly with local communities, organise informational sessions and help ensure the programme meets the needs of beneficiaries.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate on‑ground distribution of clean cookstoves across the assigned region.
- Build and maintain relationships with community leaders, NGOs and other stakeholders.
- Conduct awareness and training sessions on proper cookstove use.
- Track distribution metrics, collect feedback and report on impact.
- Identify new opportunities for expanding the cookstove programme.
- Travel within the region as needed to monitor progress and engage partners.
Required profile
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Experience in community engagement or grassroots programme implementation (preferred).
- Excellent organisational and project‑coordination skills.
- Problem‑solving mindset, adaptability and willingness to work independently.
- Passion for social impact, sustainable development and environmental causes.
Required skills
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of local languages is an advantage.
